Rachel Bonine-Kendall,
Assistant Administrator
As the Assistant Administrator, Rachel is directly responsible for greeting visitors, monitoring the telephones, and alarm and intercom systems. The Assistant Administrator is also responsible for typing, filing, copying, completing payroll, computer duties, and other clerical support functions as assigned by the Administrator.
Rachel was born and raised in La Pine. Her early work experience was in ranch work and veterinary medicine, which later transpired into working in the medical field. She worked as a nursing assistant for a Nurse Practitioner where she did patient check-in, blood draws, labs, and receptionist duties. Rachel has worked for Prairie House for over 3 years, starting as a Resident Assistant and Medication Aide, then moving up to the Resident Services Coordinator, and recently being promoted to the Assistant Administrator.
As well as being the Assistant Administrator, Rachel is also a certified CPR/First Aide instructor and conducts all CPR/First Aide training for the staff of Prairie House and two communities in Springfield, OR. She hopes to work toward her Administrator certification in the near future.
